Daniel Cai - CEO/Founder
Founder and CEO of Broadtrade Group, a leading MEP and construction firm in New York City. A graduate of South China University of Technology (Class of 1980), Daniel has built in NYC since 2003, growing Broadtrade from a small team into a company of over 200 employees. Under his leadership, the firm has delivered major high-rise buildings, hotels, and schools across the city. A visionary entrepreneur, he is now leading Broadtrade’s expansion into BMS, AI, and smart building technologies, shaping the future of urban infrastructure.
Winny Mui - COO
Chief Operating Officer of Broadtrade Group, bringing over 15 years of industry experience in construction, operations, and business management. Since 2008, she has led cross-functional teams and overseen all aspects of company operations, including HR, finance, insurance, and strategic planning. Under her leadership, the firm has grown to over 150 employees and expanded across New York and New Jersey. She is currently pursuing her Executive MBA at Columbia University to further strengthen the company’s long-term growth and leadership.
Gary Ling - Director of Construction
Gary Ling is a seasoned construction professional with over a decade of experience leading complex commercial and residential projects across the tri-state area. As Director of Construction, Gary oversees all aspects of project execution—from pre-construction planning to final delivery—ensuring quality, budget, and schedule alignment. Known for his hands-on leadership and problem-solving approach, Gary brings deep technical expertise and a strong track record of delivering high-performance buildings. His experience spans ground-up construction, major renovations, and infrastructure upgrades, making him a key driver of operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Leo Li - Project Manager
Leo Li holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and brings over a decade of experience in MEP project management and building automation systems. He has successfully delivered large-scale, high-value renovations and new construction projects, including high-rise commercial buildings, residential developments, schools, restaurants, retail spaces, and swimming pools. His expertise spans cost estimation, shop drawing coordination, and value engineering. Known for his strong technical knowledge and hands-on approach, Leo consistently earns client satisfaction and builds long-term professional relationships.
John Lovetro - Licensed Master Plumber
John Lovetro brings over 50 years of experience in the plumbing and heating industry, with a Master Plumber license since 1986. He has led numerous high-rise projects and served as a plumbing inspector for the NYC Department of Buildings. For the past 20 years, John has been a key member of Broadtrade Group, where he continues to provide expert oversight and leadership in complex mechanical systems and code compliance.
Jeffrey Zhong - Project Manager
Seasoned Senior Project Manager with nearly a decade of experience managing retrofit, service, and new construction projects across the tri-state area. Specializing in MEPS and Building Management Systems (BMS), Jeffrey delivers turnkey solutions with a focus on quality, precision, and efficiency. His strengths lie in planning and scheduling, coordination, and value engineering—ensuring every project is executed with technical excellence and operational clarity.
